How SL Roofing Services handles the personal information you give us when you request a quote or get in touch.
Who we are
SL Roofing Services is a family-run roofing contractor led by Samuel Lloyd, serving Chelmsford and the surrounding Essex towns. You can reach us on 07564 288751 or at slroofingservices2019@gmail.com. Our trading address is not currently published on this site; if you need it in writing for a formal request, please contact us and we will provide it.
What information we collect
When you complete our quote form or contact us, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, telephone number, email address, the property location or postcode, the service you are enquiring about and any description of the work. We do not ask for payment card details through this website.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange a free inspection, prepare and send a written quotation, carry out any work you go on to instruct, and keep records of jobs completed. This processing is carried out to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform that contract, and for our legitimate interest in running and administering the business.
Marketing
We do not sell your details to anyone. If we contact you about our services beyond your original enquiry, you can tell us to stop at any time by replying to the message or calling us, and we will do so.
Who we share it with
Enquiries submitted through this website may be handled through third-party service providers who host the site and process form submissions and email on our behalf. These providers act on our instructions. We may also share information where we are required to do so by law, or with our insurers where a claim arises.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as needed to follow up and then deleted. Records relating to completed work are kept for as long as needed to honour any applicable guarantee, including the three-year workmanship guarantee on new roofs, and to meet legal, tax and insurance obligations.
